Author of eight books, of which 'Africa and Math" has been translated in English, and 'Math Coloring Book' in Chinese.
D. Huylebrouck worked at universities in Congo until President Mobutu froze Belgian foreign aid. He then went to Portugal and to the Overseas Division of the University of Maryland, until his American students left for Iraq. He returned to Africa, to Burundi, but the genocides in the region cut short his stay. In 1996 he started teaching at the Faculty of Architecture of the KU Leuven in Belgium.
